According to the performance characteristics of the comprehensive logging parameters of the drilled targets, combined with the analysis of regional geological data and MWD data, it can play the role of geosteering and has the advantages of simple and low cost. Sandstone and mudstone, tight sandstone and unconsolidated sandstone in the clastic strata in western Sichuan can be identified by the identification of rock cuttings or the change of drilling time. After the target layer is accurately identified, according to the variation of gas-bearing discriminant parameters of sand body, the reservoir can be initially evaluated on the site by comprehensive geological analysis to guide the horizontal well drilling through the high-quality storage section. During the drilling process before drilling the target layer, the prediction and confirmation of the LWD of the target is particularly important. The judgment of the drilling status of the drill bit and the down dip is mainly to determine the spatial relationship between the current drilling direction and the layer to be drilled, The analysis can be combined with the target layer geological model and LWD data. Taking LS1H well as an example, the guidance function of integrated logging technology in horizontal well drilling is introduced. The results show that the comprehensive logging technology can detect the difference between actual sand body and designed sand body in time, Drilling bit after drilling sand body to find again to reduce the risk of drilling bit and the sand body play an important role, can be applied to the heterogeneity is not strong, stable reservoir development of horizontal wells.
