自拙著《鲁迅世界》(大修馆书店)77年出版以来的十多年间,研读鲁迅的环境发生了很大的变化。鲁迅的本来面目成为学术研究的对象课题,这是令人分外欣慰的。中日间的文化交流亦至此方始成为可能。事实上,这之后在中国大陆对鲁迅的种种新见解已相继出现。与中国的这种情状相呼应,日本的鲁迅研究也取得了一定的进展。关于鲁迅文学、思想的评论、评传时有问世。而调查鲁迅的事迹、探寻鲁迅在版画和古典研究上的业绩等专门研究,也进展迅速,出版了像后面列举的二十几册单行本,在数量上超过了77年前十五年间刊行的同类书籍的总和。可是不无讽刺的是,一方面鲁迅的研究越来越趋向精密,而另一方面鲁迅的读者却愈来愈显得稀少。
Since my publication of “Lu Xun World” (Overhaul Museum Bookstore) for 77 years since its publication, great changes have taken place in the study of Lu Xun’s environment. It is particularly gratifying to see that Lu Xun’s true colors have become the subject of academic research. The cultural exchange between China and Japan has become possible by this point. However, it is not without irony that on the one hand Lu Xun’s research tends to be more and more sophisticated, while on the other hand Lu Xun’s readers are increasingly scarce.
