1993年11月6日,白发苍苍的黄宗英悄然登上由上海飞往北京的班机。这次北京之行意义不同寻常:68岁的黄宗英是去与自己尊敬、爱慕多年的心上人——著名翻译家、作家、80岁高龄的冯亦代先生相聚。 冯老与黄宗英同是浙江人,但比黄宗英年长12岁。他1936年毕业于上海沪江大学工商管理系,1942年到重庆,开始翻译美国文学、戏剧作品,建国后历任国际新闻局秘书长
