CO_2水玻璃砂,具有冷硬砂工艺的一系列优点,特别是它的环境污染小、能源消耗少、来源丰富、成本低廉、工艺装备简单、不受铸件大小和批量的限制,在铸造生产中占有重要位置。但是它的溃散性羞、出砂与清砂困难、旧砂回用性差,这些缺点阻碍它的发展。我们经几年研究,采取加入SH水玻璃改良剂及无机溃散剂,在实验实与生产中均取得良妤的效果。它的立即抗压强度大于8Kg/Cm~2,存放24小时后可上升到16kg/Cm~2左右。而经1100℃焙烧后的残留强度,均小于5Kg/Cm~2 文中参考国外资料及国内现厂实迹数据。对经济效益作了粗略估计每吨铸件Co_2及粘结剂直接成本可节约20%,其它清理费用的减少、铸件质量的提高、水爆清砂可以取消、为铸件打入国际市场创造了有利条件,其经济效益是可观的。

The reduction of other cleaning costs, the improvement of the quality of castings, and the elimination of water blasting can be eliminated, creating favorable conditions for castings to enter the international market. Its economic benefits are considerable.
