该报告总结了使用谷物保护剂甲基嘧啶硫磷拌合稻谷生产试验的结果。采用机械喷雾和砻糠载体法施药的防虫效果和生物测定结果。从试验结果表明,采用甲基嘧啶硫磷其防虫效果和药效较马拉硫磷(防虫磷)为好; 使用甲基嘧啶硫磷5ppm剂量对一般粮仓害虫可维持半年以内效果,10ppm剂量以上有效期可达一年; 甲基嘧啶硫磷的药效较为显著,不但能杀死当代害虫,还可有效地防治第二代害虫的生存; 甲基嘧啶硫磷的药效对玉米象较为显著;但对谷蠹稍差一些,对米虱无明显效果。砻糠载体和机械喷雾法施药对国库均可采用,而砻糠载体法对于广大农村的储粮防虫更为方便,也易于推广应用。
