改革开放以来,我国基础教育在办学规模、教学设施与教师队伍建设等方面得到前所未有的发展,但在一些地方,教育管理部门和学校为了尽快提高学生中考、高考的成绩,采取了一些非常规的管理措施,逐步形成了主导教育管理的潜规则,致使学生身心健康受到很大伤害,国家教育目标被严重扭曲。这种状况在教育发达地区相当普遍和严重。近日,新华社记者在山东等地采访了一些基层教育工作者,大家对目前我国基础教育阶段片面追求升学率、一味追求考试成绩的错误倾向普遍不满。一些同志感叹,应试教育愈演愈烈,危及我国教育的基础和学生的身心健康与全面发展, 在这种状态下的基础教育,学生真苦,教师真累,如此下去,民族未来真的很危险!

Everyone was generally dissatisfied with the erroneous trend of unilaterally pursuing higher enrollment rates and blindly pursuing examination results. Some comrades lamented that the examination-oriented education has become increasingly fierce and endangered the foundation of our education and students’ physical and mental health and all-round development. Under this state of basic education, students are really bitter and teachers are really tired. If this continues, the national future is really dangerous!
