Objective:To explore the molecular mechanisms of the effect of low intensity pulsed ultrasound (US) on macrophages functions,and provide the theoretical foundation for its clinical application.Methods:Ficoll-Paque density gradient centrifugation was used to get human blood macrophages,to analysis macrophages phagocytosis using fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC)-labelled Escherichia coli (E.Coli),observe focal complexes and extracellular matrix metalloproteinases inducer (EMMPRIN) by fluorescence microscopy,to examine the secretion of metalloproteinases (MMPs) by gelatin zymography,and study the expression of Src,extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERKs),and p38 mitogen activated protein kinase (MAPK) by Western blotting analysis.
