Conventional mass spectrometry is encumbered by laborious and inconvenient sample pretreatment.Ambient thermal desorption electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (TDESI-MS) is most noted for its rapid, simple,and sensitive detection capabilities.1,2 A probe was used to collect the analytes on the sample surface simply by scratching it through the sample surface.
