The traditional processing can recycle most part of vanadium in vanadium slag, but made iron loss.This research suggests extracting iron first, and then deal with vanadium.The use ofXRD, XRF, SEM / EDS and other characterization methods showed that : Compared with other samples when added 14.43 g pulverized coal, peaks of Fe in the magnetic slag was the strongest, main phase in the non-magnetic slag was Fe2.50Ti0.50O4; with the increase of temperature, when added 9.62 g pulverized coal, vanadium slag reduction is not sufficient, main phase in two slag changed, Fe2.932 →Fe,Fe2.75Ti0.25O4→Fe2.50Ti0.50O4, respectively, when adding coal powder 19.24 g, the vanadium slag was overeducated, main phase into two slag changed from Fe→ Fe2.932 and Fe2.50Ti0.50O4→FeTiO3; The best recovery rate of Iron, chromium and vanadium were 98.61%, 72.36% and 79.32%.
