Protein microarraytechnology has shown great advancements in the field of biomedical research and diagnosis.It allows to study protein activities and protein-ligand interactions (e.g.detection of antigen-autoantibody interaction in autoimmune diseases).To build functional proteins microarrays,many parameters have to be considered such as the choice of an appropriate surface chemistry for immobilization of proteins probes that retains both protein structure and biological activity.In the diagnosis of autoimmune diseases,such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) or arthritis rheumatoid,autoantibodies are frequently directed against cytoplasmic or nuclear antigens of the cell (double and single strand DNA,histones,ribonucleoproteins,…).
