In the northern area of Archean granulitefacies continental nucleus in North China Craton, many metamorphosed mafic to ultramafic complexes are intermittently distributed along Shangyi-Chongli-Chicheng fault zone(about north latitude 41°)with the length of over 250 km and width of 3-6 km.In the Shangyi area of North Hebei, the complexes mainly contain basalt and cumulate gabrro metamorphosed to amphibolites,plagioclase-bearing pyroxenite and plagioclasebearing olivine websterite,TTG,red banded chert and white marble containing serpentine. In the Labagoumen area of Huairou district in Beijing, there exist basalt and cumulate gabrro metamorphosed to amphibolites, and ultramafic enclaves with diameter more than 50 m.
