Ethnocentric Politics have made it vigorous and potentially so devastating that the execution of ethnicity has become the significant base of numerous problems,conflicts,and revolts in the weak states like Afghanistan.The present study assesses ethnocentrism as a political strategy in Afghanistan,the primarily objective of this research is to explore the nature and causes of Ethnic Groups politics in Afghanistan,demonstrate the power of ethnic groups in state-building processes in the Post-Taliban decade,and explore the role Ethnocentric Politics is undermining the process of state-building in Afghanistan.The central hypothesis illustrates the instrumentation and implementation of Ethnic entities as a source of political legitimacy,which has directed undermine the efforts towards development in Afghanistan.Considering historical perspective,it can be devised that Ethnic politics is not a novel process in Afghanistan,as it has been sustained and reinforced by Ethnocentric Politics with time.The current thesis also illustrates the essential features responsible for the development of Ethnocentric Politics in Afghanistan and How Ethnocentric Politics has affected Afghanistan’s State,and How have Ethnocentric Politics been undermined the process of state-building in Afghanistan.Ethnocentrism is essential because it indicates the continuation of political efforts involving Ethnic rivalries,which play a central role in undermining its development.The emergence of ethnic entities in Afghanistan country played a crucial role in undermining the state-building procedure.It has deteriorated the national reconciliation and improvement of citizens and community,including Afghanistan’s national identity.In simple words,Ethnocentric Politics is formed as an outcome of internal and external forces.The Government should take some practical steps to overcome the condition of poor state-building.There is a need to construct some effective policies that would proliferate state-building and uniting the principal entities involved in promoting Ethnocentric Politics in the country.
