According to the Survey Report on the Internet Access Behavior of Youth in 2013 published by the China Internet Network Information Center, the Internet penetration rate among adolescents has continued to rise and has infiltrated the younger age groups. As of the end of December 2013, the number of Internet users in China reached 256 million, accounting for 41.5% of the total Internet users and 71.8% of the total youth. Internet users aged 6-11 accounted for 11.6% of young Internet users, up nearly 4 percentage points from the end of 2012.
