2005年5月在北京举办的《财富》全球论坛盛况空前。包括77家世界500强企业在内的400多名国外大企业的董事长、总裁、首席执行官和200多名中国内地、港澳台侨企业界人士云集北京,他们就“中国和新的亚洲世纪”的主题在《财富》全球论坛上各抒己见,探讨当今世界尤其是经济界的热点问题和现象。论坛不仅为中国进一步扩大国际影响搭建了沟通的平台, 也为全球的跨国公司特别是世界500强企业进一步在北京以及中国更广阔的地区开拓市场创造了机会。
The “Fortune” Global Forum held in Beijing in May 2005 was an unprecedented event. More than 400 chairman, president and chief executive of foreign large enterprises, including 77 Fortune 500 companies, and more than 200 businesspeople from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan gathered in Beijing. They talked about “China and the new Asian Century ”Theme in the“ Fortune ”Global Forum to express their views on the current world economy, especially the hot issues and phenomena. The Forum not only set up a platform for China to further expand its international influence, but also created opportunities for multinational corporations, especially the Fortune 500 companies, to further expand their markets in Beijing and broader areas of China.
