“形”、“象”之辩最早发生于哲学领域 ,以道家为代表。在传统哲学话语中 ,“形”、“象”是以“二元对立”的方式存在着 ;而“形”与“象”这种哲学意义上的“二元对立”从一开始就不是地位平等、均衡发展的 ,“重象轻形”是中国古代哲学中一以贯之的倾向。“重象轻形”的哲学思想对中国古代美学思想有直接的影响。这种影响主要通过三个途径实现 :一是道家思想。二是易经思想。三是佛学思想。这种影响的重要结果 ,是“意境”理论的确立。
The debates of “form” and “image” took place in the field of philosophy at first, represented by Taoism. In traditional philosophical discourse, “form” and “image” exist in the form of “binary opposition,” while “duality” in the philosophical sense of “form” and “image” is not status from the very beginning Equal and balanced development, “heavy image light form” is a consistent tendency in ancient Chinese philosophy. The philosophical thought of “ghost and light” has a direct impact on the ancient Chinese aesthetic thoughts. This effect is mainly achieved through three channels: First, Taoism. Second, I Ching thoughts. Third, Buddhism. The important result of this kind of influence is the establishment of “mood” theory.
