非谓语动词学习是高中阶段的重点、难点,也是高考的考点之一。注意以下提示有助于非谓语动词学习的掌握与提高。
一、关注形容词化了的动词
1、___in thought, he almost ran into the car in front of him。
A、LosingB、Having lost
C、LostD、To lose
2、The policeman caught the thief___behind the tree。
A、hideB、is hiding
C、hiddenD、to be hidden
3、Do you know the beauiful girl__like an acress?
A、dress B、dressing
C、dressedD、to be dressed
析:1、c, 2、c, 3、c,Lost ,hidden,dressed 已失去被动意义,只表示(逻辑)主语的特征、状态等,此类动词常有:Addict,arm,annoy,bore,catch,connect,crowd,determine,dress,excite,fix,fill,frighten,hide,lose,marry,mark,move,satisfy,surprise,tire等。
二、注意有些短语中的to为介词,不是不定式符号
4、Much attention should be paid__people’s living conditions。
A、in improvingB、to improve C、improving D、to improving
5、___Car 17 won the race
___Yes,but its driver came close to ___
A、have been killedB、being killedC、be killedD、killed
析:4、D,5、B,其中pay attention to ,come close to 中的“to”都为介词。类似的短语有:
Be used to (习惯于…)come close to,devote oneself to ,give lessons to ,lead to,listen to, look forward to ,object to, pay attention to ,refer to , send…to,stick to ,write to 等。
三、注意句子中的关联词,理解句型变化
6、___many times ,but he made the same mistake again。
A、Having been toldB、Althougn he had been told
C、 He had been toldD、Told
析:C为正确答案。此题关键词是but,有but 为并列句,只有C为正确答案,无but, B对,为并列句;A也对,为简单句,这样的关联词还有and,or,so等。
四、适当了解教材中没有的独立主格结构
7、___,Mary had to stay at home to look after her。
A、Being ill B、To be ill C、Her mother was illD、Her mother being ill
8、___the room ,a letter was found on the ground。
A、Entering B、Having enteredC、Entered D、He entering
析:7、D,8、D,非谓语动词学习中讲究要与主语在逻辑上保持一致。
例7中,若选A,即意为Many was ill, 不合题意;例8中,“a letter”是不可能进入(enter)房间的。
五、了解垂悬分词

A、General spokenB、Generally spoken
C、Generally speaking D、General speaking
10、____her accent ,she must be from Nanchang
A、Judged form B、To judge fromC、Judging from D、To be judged from
析:9、C,10、C, Generally speaking,Judging from 分别与其逻辑主语this book,she不需一致(也因此叫垂悬分词),可作为固定结构记住。类似的还有,supposing /imagining…(假定),counting (算上),talking of (说到)等。
