从与大师们促膝长谈,到直接在三维空间指挥演员完成写作的十年间,我总是好奇地涉及不同题材,面对不一样的人群,每次的剧场表达都力求找到最有效、最准确的表达形式。从这点上说,“一戏一格”不是我的刻意追求。西方戏剧这一舶来品传入中国百年,而中国自己的戏剧传统何止百年,中国的哲学思想、美学系统更是横亘千年。我作为要与中国观众分享生命体验的中国创作者,这十年间的“一戏一格”其实有着明确的出发点——做中国人自己的戏剧。
