The Corpse Bride Emily: Isn’t the view beautiful? It takes my breath away. Well, it would if I had any.
Victor: Look, I am terribly sorry about what’s happened to you, and I’d like to help, but I really need to get home.
Emily: This is your home now.
Victor: But I don’t even know your name.
The Bug from Emily’s Head: Well, that’s a great way to start a marriage.
Emily: (to the bug) Shhh. Shut up. (to Victor) Hmm. It’s Emily.
  Victor: Emily.
Emily: Oh. I almost forgot. I have something for you. It’s a wedding present.
Victor: Thank you. (There’re some skeletons of a dog in the box.)Scraps? Scraps! My dog Scraps! Oh, Scraps, what a good boy.
Emily: I knew you’d be happy to see him.
Victor: Who’s my good boy? Sit. Sit, Scraps. Sit. Good boy, Scraps. Roll over. Roll over. Good boy, Scraps. Play dead. Sorry.
  Emily: Oh, what a cutie.
Victor: You should see him with fur. Mother never approved of Scraps jumping up like this. But then again, she never approved of anything.
Emily: Do you think she would have approved of me?
Victor: You’re lucky you’ll never have to meet her. Well actually, now that you mention it, I think you should. In fact, since we’re, you know, married, you should definitely meet her. And my father, too. We should go and see them right now.
Emily: What a fantastic idea. Where are they buried?
  Victor: Oh.
  Emily: What? What is it?
Victor: They’re not from around here.
Emily: Where are they?...Oh, they’re still alive.
  Victor: I’m afraid so.
  Emily: That is a problem.

25)Herald: Announcing t
