理论联系实际是我们党的三大作风之一,是党校一贯坚持的教学方针。1953年5月,中共中央政治局把党校教育的教学方针,确立为“学习理论,提高认识,联系实际,改造思想”十六个字。1956年2月,又经中共中央批准,将原来的十六字方针 修改为“学习理论,联系实际,提高认识,增强党性”。1977年10月,中共中央做出了《关于办好各级党校的决定》,并强调“要提倡理论密切联系实际的学风”。几十年来,各级党校就是在这个方针指引下,为党培养了一批又一批的干部。把理论联系实际作为党校的教学方针,既有充分的科学依据,又符合客观实际情况,从认识论的观点看,理论联系实际不仅符合人类认识过程的一般规律,也符合教学过程的特殊认识规律。因为任何真知都是来自实践,在教学中从感性到理性,从实践到理论,是顺理成章的事情。这样教师就能讲得生动活泼,有血有肉,学员也能学得扎实牢固,丰富灵活。但是科学理论知识有着悠久的历史和丰富的内容,不可能、也不必要学习者事事都要重新亲自实践,在学校应以学习书本为主,学习间接知识为主。可是这样作,又容易从书
Combining theory with practice is one of the three major styles for our party and a teaching guideline consistently adhered to by the party school. In May 1953, the Politburo of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee established the teaching guideline of party school education as the sixteen words of “learning theory, raising awareness, linking reality with reform.” In February 1956, with the approval of the CPC Central Committee, the original 16-character principle was revised to read “learning theory, linking reality, raising awareness and strengthening party spirit.” In October 1977, the CPC Central Committee made the “Decision on Running Party Schools at All Levels” and emphasized that “the theory should be promoted in close contact with the actual style of study.” For decades, the party schools at all levels have, under the guidance of this principle, have trained a batch of cadres one after another for the party.
