文人画发展至元代渐兴盛,善写竹者比比皆是。在异族一统下,竹之“君子德”品性,更是受到了许多文人画家的“追捧”。无论是用于宣扬画贵有“古意”、“书画同源”说,还是隐士们借以表坚韧不屈之志、抒萧散简率之怀,亦或是热衷名利者得以晋身之阶,均体现了元人的“恋竹”情结。本文将通过对元代不同文人画家群体的初步分析,以揭示这一特殊的时代文化现象。
