客车的车体可分为外部结构与内部结构两大部分。我国现用的客车,其外部结构为承载结构,大多是由碳素钢板和型钢组成的筒形结构,有极少数车辆采用铝合金材料;内部结构一直延用木料。这是因为木材的性能基本上能满足一般车体内部结构的要求。近几年来,由于森林资源逐渐减少,以及某些车辆在诸如防火或延长使用寿命等一些特殊性能的要求,内部结构需用的木材也开始减少。
Passenger car body can be divided into two major parts of the external structure and internal structure. China’s current bus, the external structure of the load-bearing structure, mostly composed of carbon steel and steel cylinder structure, a handful of vehicles using aluminum alloy materials; internal structure has been extended with wood. This is because the performance of wood can basically meet the requirements of the general body structure. In recent years, due to the gradual reduction of forest resources and the demand of certain vehicles for some special properties such as fire protection or prolongation of service life, the timber used for internal structures has also started to decrease.
