This article describes the design parameters considered when developing high pressure, high Mach number centrifugal compressors, introduces important compressor flow processes, and describes the basic parameters of these processes. The influence of these basic parameters on the performance of centrifugal compressor is discussed. At the same time, the technical status quo of performance parameters is commented. The basic one-dimensional flow model is used to discuss the flow process and the related secondary design parameters so as to establish The relationship between the overall geometry of the compressor and the design parameters was evaluated. The status quo of the compressor performance was evaluated and the development over the years was described.
