近年来,虽然档案工作得到较快的发展,档案管理现代化水平有一定的提高,但在档案管理方法和手段方面与世界先进水平相比,还有一定的差距,不能更好地满足新形势对档案工作提出的要求。因此,应采取各种措施,加快档案工作现代化的步伐。一、档案工作现代化的必要性1.实现档案工作现代化是社会主义市场经济对档案工作的要求。在建设社会主义市场经济的过程中,要从总体上提高现代化水平,必须摸清国际国内的动态,了解过去和现状,以及今后的发展趋势,才能确定今后努力的目标和方向。而要做到这一点,就要求档案部门能迅速、准确地提供现代化所需的档案材料。而传统的管理方法则无法满足这种需要,只有采用现代化手段,才能在较短时间内,迅速查阅到利用者所需要的档案材
