新课结束以后,为巩固和深化所学知识,开发和提高综合运用英语的能力,必须认真抓好总复习。在总复习中,要以大纲为指导,以教材为依据。一、看、讲、练、评第一阶段逐课复习,是对教材的巩固和深化,以看、讲、练、评为宜。每课先让学生自己看,在看的基础上,教师抓住教材的重点,针对学生的难点,作简洁扼要的讲解。那些不讲而通过练习可以理解的问题,就练而不讲。练是总复习的核心,针对性要强,内容要系统,题型要多样。做到词不离句,句不离文,词、句、文,语(法)融为一体。从不同角度,不同层次,以诸种形式操练: 〈1〉比较操练。从正反两方面来区别同义词、反义词、近义词的用法和一些句型、惯用法的表达法。如,比较none与no onc的用法:
