恒低速内燃机车具有高速牵引和恒低速运行两种功能,能实现货物列车装卸、过磅的机械化和自动化。本文介绍了我国第一台太行<1>型液力换向内燃机车4H10—GA型恒低速传动装置的结构、特性和特点。4H10—GA型恒低速传动装置是通过机械传动方式和利用柴油机的调速特性实现1km/h恒低速的。这种装置具有独创性,与国外的恒低速机车相比,其特点是传动效率高和恒速性能好。
