翻译就是将一种语言所表达的意义用另一种语言的表达形式表现出来,它包括了理解与表达两个重要的阶段。要想对原文进行正确的表达,就必须正确的理解原文中各词义的意思。而翻译中对原文有效的理解与表达又是在具体的语境中进行的,因此,在原文语境的基础上对词义进行确定,是翻译的重中之重。文章对英汉翻译中语境所起的作用进行相关介绍,重点分析具体语境对翻译中词义的确定的影响。
Translation is the expression of one language expressed in another language expression, which includes two important stages of understanding and expression. To correctly express the original text, we must correctly understand the meanings of each meaning in the original text. However, the effective understanding and expression of the original texts in translation are carried out in specific contexts. Therefore, the determination of word meaning based on the context of the original texts is the most important part of translation. The article introduces the role played by context in English-Chinese translation and focuses on the influence of specific context on the definition of meaning in translation.
