n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) has been demonstrated to have beneficial effect on the lipid metabolism; the objective of the present study was to investigate the different effects of tuna oil and salmon oil rich in r-3 PUFA on the lipids metabolism in rats.Thirty-six male SD rats aged 3 weeks,weighing 120g+10g were randomly divided into three groups:Olive oil group (Control,n =12) was fed with regular diet plus olive oil (0.5ml); Tuna oil group (TO,n =12) was fed with regular diet olus oil (tuna oil 100mg/kg BW + olive oil(=)0.5ml).
