电子元件是一个数量庞大、种类繁多的大家族。有人坦言,如果没有电容器、电阻器、电感器、滤波器、连接器、开关、继电器等这一大群看上去并不起眼的小东西,那么即使是象现在炒得最火的3G 手机这种先进的信息产品,恐怕也只能是一种空谈。而事实也的确如此,据一份市场调查资料称,基础无源元件对3G 手机的重要性比对传统手机更甚。比如有一款日本产的 FOMA 3G 手机上,大约用了600只无源元件,包括300多只电容,160多只电阻,30多只连接器,40多只 SAW(声表面波)器件,电感、线圈、铁氧体各10多只;而集成电路只有30块,另外有不到100只的半导体分立器件,包括近30只晶体管、20多只二极管及10多只用于 TFT-LCD 显示器背光源的 LED,元件用量着实可观,连接这些元器件的焊点就有大约4000处。
