Non-point source pollution is widespread throughout the world, with moderate to severe degradation of 1.2 billion hm2 of arable land worldwide, of which 12% is due to non-point source pollution. Non-point source pollution has also seriously affected the quality of groundwater, posing a serious threat to human health and the production of agriculture and animal husbandry. Predicting the spatial and temporal changes of large-scale non-point source pollutants requires multidisciplinary theoretical knowledge, which can be organically combined to predict accurately. The use of GIS to establish a non-point source pollution model can effectively solve this problem.
