为研究开发出国产治疗视网膜损伤的有效药物, 选用青紫蓝灰兔和恒河猴受氩离子激光照射, 造成视网膜凝固斑的模型, 用碱性成纤维细胞生长因子(basic fibroblast growthfactor, 缩写bFGF) 作球后和肌肉注射, 通过检眼镜、眼底照相、损伤斑定量分析、光镜、电镜及视网膜电图(ERG) 等六项指标检测, 研究观察了bFGF对激光视网膜损伤斑的治疗作用。结果表明, bFGF对视网膜凝固斑有明显的促进修复及愈合作用
