素质是指人的自身所存在的内在的、相对稳定的身心特征及其结构,是决定其主体活动功能、状况及质量的基本因素。数学作为一种客观抽象出来的自然科学,属于社会素质的范畴。人的数学素质是人的数学素养和专业素质的双重体现,数学素质包含数学意识、数学语言、数学技能、数学思维等四个表现特征。由于长期应试教育的影响,数学教育与整个普通教育一样偏离了素质教育的轨道,因而使学生的数学素质停留在低层次上,削弱了数学索质在人的综合素质中所占的成分。因此,在确定
