卡依萨多尔蓄能式水电站装机容量为160万千瓦,其建筑场地选定在立陶宛加盟共和国考那斯水电站水库的右岸。该处的工程地质、地貌和水文条件比波罗的海沿岸各加盟共和国和列宁格勒地区其他有可能布置蓄能式水电站的场地的条件更为优越。卡依萨多尔蓄能式水电站的技术设计由苏联国立水工建筑物设计院编制。该电站预定建成后投入西北联合电力系统工作,利用该电站承担西北联合电力系统的尖锋负荷和填充电力
The capacity of the Kaisadal hydropower station is 1.6 million kilowatts. Its construction site is selected on the right bank of Kaunas Hydropower Station, Republic of Lithuania. The conditions of engineering geology, geomorphology and hydrology of the area are superior to those of the other republics in the Baltic Sea coast and other places in the Leningrad region where potential for the storage of hydropower stations may be located. The technical design of the Kaisadal energy storage hydropower station was prepared by the National Institute of Hydraulic Design of the Soviet Union. The power station is scheduled to be put into the Northwest United Power System after the completion of work, the use of the power station to bear the northwestern United Power System, the peak load and fill the power
