薰蒸剂的毒性考虑熏蒸剂的毒性,必須考虑从熏蒸处理的食品中所摄取的残留量对人体的影响以及由于熏蒸漏气引起大气污染所造成的危险性两个方面。要預知这些危险性,前者需用动物进行长期飼养試驗,后者需用动物体暴露在熏蒸剂中进行观察。关于熏蒸剂的有关資料,在急性毒性方面已非常明确,但关于食品中残留物的毒性尚不明确,对于这个問題联合国粮农組织及世界卫生組织所属的合同委員会特別强調需要进行慢性毒性試驗的必要性。本文打算就这方面以“某些杀虫剂在食品中残留的評論”一文为基础,在急性毒性方面以“毒物手册”一書为基础,加之綜合最近的有关报导,对以下几种熏蒸剂的毒性作一介紹。
