科学史的创始人乔治·萨顿认为,科学史是自然科学与人文学科之间的桥梁,它能够帮助学生获得自然科学的整体形象、人性的形象,从而全面的理解科学、理解科学与人文的关系。随着科学的不断进步和发展以及我国教育水平的提高,科学史作为一项重要的教育内容被广泛重视起来,并且越来越多的出现在高中教材中。高中生物课程不再只限于理论知识的讲解,而是越来越多的引入生物发展史上的经典事例,向学生系统地介绍生命科学的起源和发展,不但充分激发起学生的好奇心与求知欲,使学生对科学产生兴趣,同时培养了学生科学的世界观,养成勇于探索,实事求是的科学态度。本文将就科学史在高中生物课程中的教育意义及其重要作用展开讨论。
