The method and principle of the arrangement of mild steel energy dissipater in the super high-rise structure are explored to make the mild steel energy dissipater exert the best energy dissipation effect and meet the requirements of safety and economy. The analysis methods and steps of the mild steel energy dissipater in the super high-rise structure are described. The process of the seismic analysis of the energy-dissipating vibration-damping structure is fully understood and the effective total damping ratio of the energy-dissipating shock-absorbing structure is avoided. Taking C Tower of Tianjin International Trade Center as an example, the feasibility and economy of using mild steel energy dissipater in super high-rise building are introduced.
