机械工业企业当前如何确定产品方向,是一个重大课题。本文的基本观点是应根据国家计划、市场需要、用户要求、企业的条件、技术力量、历史经验和生产特点,在国家规定的定点范围之内,扩大服务领域,不仅为重工业服务,还要同时为农业、轻工业的现代化,为国防、科研的现代化,为节约和开发能源,为扩大机电产品出口,为企业的技术改造和人民的生活服务。要积极主动地去发展市场最需要,特别是潜在需要的,企业的实力又是最强的,并有竞争能力,有盈利的新产品。在这样的观点下,本文论述了发展新产品的意义,规划产品方向,发展新产品的战略,开展技术予测和市场予测以及新产品的发展程序等内容。
