在新课改下,对高中英语教学提出了更高的要求,明确指出应将高中传统的升学教学转变为终身英语学习教育;注重从基础知识传授转变为知识与语言应用并重的教学观念;注重从传统以教师为教学活动主体转变为以学生为中心的教学模式;注重从单一的成绩评价转变为综合英语素质的多样化教学评价模式。但受到传统应试教育影响,很多教师对这些改变并不适应,高中英语新课程教学实践中仍存在诸多问题,高中英语学习水平可为学生以后步入社会的英语语言应用做好提前准备,教师应充分意识到新课程改革
