在ｔｈｅｒｅ＋ ｂｅ存在式从句与一般类型从句之间，存在着一种规律性的等价关系（即同意关系）。但只有当这种一般类型从句的主语是非限定性主语，并且其动词短语中又有动词形式ｂｅ时，这种等价关系才可以实现。我们可以通过一个普遍规则将存在式从句从一般从句中派生出来：
