“中间变量”就是在所讨论的问题中,于给定条件下取固定值的一种辅助变量。在证某些平几题时,可以根据问题所示的特点,恰当地选择有关线段、角(系指其量度)或面积为中间变量,借以沟通已知与未知之间的联系,然后在设法消去中间变量的过程中,把问题转化为用运算来代替某些推理论证。这样做,往往较易找到证题途径,简化证题过程,降低证题的难度,而需作的辅助线也相应地会少些。同时,还有利于沟通数学知识之间的联系,激发学生的学习
