In the course of the translation and introduction of British and American poetry into China, the difficulties encountered are far greater than those of other literary forms. Due to the differences between English and Chinese poems in many aspects, such as language and rhythm, the translation of English poems into Chinese from arose to development is very difficult. The initial translation of English poems coincided with the period of Chinese thought and culture change. Therefore, the translation and introduction of British and American poetry from the beginning of the translation of British and American poems to the 1930s have a very close relationship with the development of Chinese culture and literature. In the historical evolution of modern Chinese literature in most of the past century, the translation of English poems has also shown some characteristics in stages.
