燃料在燃烧过程中产生的氮氧化物会严重危害生态环境,已成为大气污染中一个急需控制的项目。各工业发达国家的环境保护法规对NO_x的排放量有严格的限制,并投入了大量的人力、物力,从事NO_x生成机理、低NO_x燃烧技术及装置的开发研究,各种低NO_x燃烧器和技术已用于新装锅炉及老机组锅炉的改造。利港电厂引进的1、2号锅炉就是美国福斯特·惠勒能源公司(FWEC)采用低NO_x燃烧技术设计制造的。这种锅炉装有由4台MBF中速辊式磨煤机,16只流量可调低NO_x旋流燃烧器。燃烧器分4排布置于前墙,每一排4只喷燃器由一台磨煤机供粉。下面简单介绍流量可调型喷燃器的性能和低NO_x燃烧原理。
