Among all kinds of tactical missiles, the air-to-air missile is the most complicated and demanding weapon product with the most technical difficulty. The development of air-to-air missiles is highly risky and expensive to fund. A new model usually takes more than a decade or more to finalize, put into production and equip its troops. Therefore, how to maximize the efficiency of products and achieve a multi-purpose bomb, such as transplanting to land-sea and ship-to-air space, is a serious consideration by all the military and missile research and development departments in various countries.
