To study the performance of internal asymmetric nodes, this type of node has not been included in the EN 1993-1-8 design specification. To this end, to determine a five different nodes, including research programs. Prepare the numerical model and use it to calibrate the results of the full-scale test of node model. Analyze and determine the main factors affecting the performance of asymmetric nodes and establish a behavior model that is consistent with the component method. In addition, we study analytic methods that support component methods and collect information about new configurations to establish a reference model for asymmetric node designs. Establish an improved analytical model to study asymmetric nodes. The analysis results are compared with the corresponding calibration numerical model. According to the curve that reflects the moment-moment relation of nodes, the correction of component method is more reasonable.
