英语专业学生的思辨能力比较薄弱,这已经引起了外语界专家学者的重视。在长期授课过程中,经过一系列的探索实践,笔者发现案例教学法是培养和提高学生思辨能力的正确有效途径。本文旨在解释案例教学法如何与英语专业基础英语课相结合,如何设计案例以及如何运用案例教学法提高英语专业学生的思辨能力。经过一段时间的沉淀后,笔者检验时发现案例教学模式下的学生分析问题的能力有了明显提高。
English majors’ ability to think is rather weak, which has attracted the attention of foreign experts and scholars. In the long-term teaching process, after a series of exploration practice, the author found that case teaching method is the correct and effective way to train and improve students’ ability of speculation. The purpose of this article is to explain how the case teaching method can be combined with basic English classes in English majors, how to design cases and how to use cases to improve the students’ ability of thinking. After a period of sedimentation, the author found that the ability of students in case teaching mode to analyze problems has been significantly improved.
