In the United States, cyclic voltammetry and contact angle measurements of rotating disk electrodes were used to investigate the mechanism of SO2 flotation caused by flotation and collector-free cataplasm of chalcopyrite. The first step in chalcopyrite oxidation is precipitation of iron, which can remain on the surface after hydrolysis, rendering the surface hydrophilic. In the stirred solution, a large amount of iron enters the solution, making the CuS layer easier to interact with the collector than the original chalcopyrite or iron-covered surface
