  Gina觉得Rob是因为嫉妒Ed而生气,因为Kristie和Ed经常一起喝咖啡……
Gina: Kristie? Kristie, is that you?
Kristie: Oh! Hi, Gina. I didn’t see you there.
Gina: Hey, what’s got you crying in your coffee? I’ve never
  seen you so 1)bummed out.
Kristie: Oh, it’s nothing big. I was having some problems with Rob, but Ed helped me get to the bottom of it.
Gina: Ed? Why were you talking to him? Why didn’t you talk to Rob directly?
Kristie: Oh, I will. That’s why I’m here—I’m meeting him in a half hour.
Gina: That’s good. It’s always best to go to the source. Kristie: I agree. The funny thing is, Rob’s all worked up because I’ve been spending too much time with you, and haven’t been 2)doting on him enough.
Gina: Spending too much time with me? Are you sure?①Did you get that straight from the horse’s mouth, or is that Ed talking?
Kristie: Well, it’s Ed’s idea. But it’s true that Rob and I haven’t been hanging out as much as we were during the honeymoon period.
Gina: Sounds 3)fishy to me. ②We haven’t exactly been painting the town red, you and I. And you did spend the whole weekend with Rob.
Kristie: That’s true. But for the life of me, I can’t think what else it could be! And Ed seemed pretty sure about it.
  Gina: Hm… Ed…
  Kristie: What’s that about?
Gina: Kristie, we grew up together. We’re bosom buddies. But it’s normal for girls to be so close. Ed, on the other hand…
Kristie: What are you getting at?
Gina: Well, if I were Rob, I might be jealous of your Bromeo.
  Kristie: My what?
Gina: You mean you haven’t noticed? ③You and Ed are almost joined at the hip. If Rob is upset that you’re spending too much time with somebody, it’s definitely Ed.
Kristie: But Ed’s an old friend, too! We went through high school together.
Gina: Think about it—if Rob had a female friend that he had coffee with almost every day, ④wouldn’t that get your goat?
Kristie: Well, now I just don’t know what to think.
