“治大国若烹小鲜”乃我国古代大思想家老子在《道德经·六十》中说的一句至理名言,意在阐述安邦治国之道,而绝非鼎俎经验之谈.老子能否司厨掌勺已无从查考,但老子把烹调小鱼(“鲜”,即生鱼.)的方法,与治理国家的“大道”相比拟,却也说明他对此还是深有体验的.比老子大约要早一千年的商朝,有一位辅佐商王成汤的宰相,正是从疱厨之间走上政治舞台的,这人就是襄助成汤一举伐桀灭夏而建立商王朝的伊尹.
