Graphical user interface (GUI) and direct manipulation technology is the development trend of man-machine interface and human-computer interaction technology, its application has greatly improved the computer system easy to learn and user-friendly. This article describes the GUI and its related issues - visualization, direct manipulation, standardization and more. Finally, an example of a GUI generation and management system that supports direct manipulation is given.
