Hypertension is the most common cardiovascular disease and is an important risk factor for cardiac diseases such as cardiac hypertrophy and heart failure. In recent years, more and more researchers have paid attention to the research field about the impact of hypothermia on hypertension and made a series of progress. This paper summarizes the related mechanisms of hypothermia-induced and aggravated hypertension mainly including the effects of low temperature exposure on neuroendocrine System, BKCa, oxidative stress, endothelial function, inflammatory response and mineralocorticoid receptor. By exploring its pathological mechanism for finding preventive treatment measures provide a theoretical reference.
