目前用在正交场放大器 (CFA) 调制器中的高压恒流刚管开关存在阴极发射寿命短,灯丝功耗大的缺点,因而降低了其固有寿命。为了解决这些问题,我们将高压固态开关以CFA为负载进行设计和研制,并成功地作了测试。本文首先介绍如何用一个串联的场效应管 (FET) 组件堆来完成高压恒流刚管开关的电路功能,其中每个FET组件受光脉冲触发时动态地承受部份高压并让恒定电流通过。而且,由于组件有冗余和构成简单,这种电路的可靠性和维修性明显优于刚管调制器。最后,介绍测试结果。这个结果验证了高压恒流固态调制器在各种负载条件下的工作状态。
At present, the high voltage constant current tube switch used in a quadrature field amplifier (CFA) modulator has the disadvantage of short cathode emission lifetime and large filament power consumption, thereby reducing its inherent life. In order to solve these problems, we designed and developed a high-voltage solid-state switch with a CFA load and successfully tested it. This article begins by describing how to use a series FET stack to perform the circuit functions of a high-voltage constant-current-rigid-switched switch in which each FET component dynamically sustains part of the high voltage and passes a constant current when triggered by a light pulse. Moreover, the reliability and maintainability of this circuit is significantly better than that of a rigid pipe modulator due to the redundancy of the components and the simple configuration. Finally, introduce the test result. This result verifies the operating conditions of the high voltage constant current solid state modulator under various load conditions.
